2008 Eastern Regional Little League Tournament

The 2008 ERLL Tournament had Shelton representing Connecticut. Breen Field was in absolute perfect condition thanks to Maintenance Director Gerry Dube and his crew. They did a tremendous job throughout the entire tournament.

Emily Rivers spends countless hours manning the souvenir stand. Ever vigilant Tom working the security detail. The Mountain Dew in the back pocket always helps. A dedicated volunteer who looks sad because there is only one game left.

Dave the Gatekeeper. Patrick Holden at the closing ceremonies. Two key cogs in the umpiring crew.

These guys have a tough job.... Does anyone know who this is??? Somebody has to count the money....

Before the game.... The crew spends hours getting the field ready. As always there was lots of entertainment.

The starting lineups are introduced. There was not an empty seat in left field. Or right field or anywhere for that matter.

Shelton wins the championship 2-1 with two home runs in the sixth inning. Shelton, along with New Hampshire, takes the Champions lap around the field. Shelton National winning coach, Ed Szymansky, heading to Williamsport, PA and the Little League World Series to represent Connecticut....
